eyes of the beholder
 Posted by: ndin | 11/26 2006, 20:01

I found it absurd that while one part of this world's population fight to their last blood to protect humanity from a complete moral destruction, an average lifestyle magazine is making humorous anecdotes on the very same 'moral destruction' as it is already very common. Is the first group living in an illusion of too much good in the world or are they fighting regardless the scars that they know are there and incurable?

The opposite's side media is no more objective. The proclaimed 'religious' magazines often offer nothing more than judgemental provocation, digging every last scrap of negativity of every idea coming from the West or so that said. These ideas include Human Rights movement and Gender Equality including domestic violance which is said as a conpsiracy to destroy the Islamic civilization.

Such a soothing spiritual content, refusing to acknowledge a woman's cry just because the whisleblower is someone outside the 'familiy'

The world is defined by us. The scars will eventually evaporate. That's what we believe, that's what we try to proclaim to the sickened world.

Today's people are living in anxiety. The two huge civilizations (Europeans and Arabs) are clashed with their different ways of thinking.

To pass a judgement is a harsh of ignorance. But, the uneasy heart of people is a comodity to spread bad words. So, the media entertain those poor souls with many bad sentiments.

In the end, it's all about the money.
