- Wrong to be Right
-
Joss Stone says she's got a right to be wrong. Lately, I feel that I'm going through some wrongs in a mission to miraculously discover what is right for me. It sure sucks sometime, because being lost is something that naturally discomforts the man kind, I guess.
So, here's a little comfort to those in search..
I've got a right to be wrong
My mistakes will make me strong
I'm stepping out into the great unknown
I'm feeling wings though I've never flown
i`ve got a mind of my own
I'm flesh and blood to the bone
I'm not made of stone
Got a right to be wrong
So just leave me alone
I've got a right to be wrong
I've been held down too long
I've got to break free
So I can finally breathe
i`ve got a right to be wrong
Got to sing my own song
I might be singing out of key
But it sure feels good to me
Got a right to be wrong
So just leave me alone
You're entitled to your opinion
But it's really my decision
I can't turn back I'm on a mission
If you care don't you dare blur my vision
Let me be all that I can be
Don't smother me with negativity
Whatever's out there waiting for me
I'm going to faced it willingly
I've got a right to be wrong
My mistakes will make me strong
I'm stepping out into the great unknown
I'm feeling wings though I've never flown
I've got a mind of my own
Flesh and blood to the bone
See, I'm not made of stone
I've got a right to be wrong
So just leave me alone
I've got a right to be wrong
I've been held down to long
I've got to break free
So I can finally breathe
I've got a right to be wrong
Got to sing my own song
I might be singing out of key
But it sure feels good to me
I've got a right to be wrong
So just leave me alone

- Twilite Orchestra: Beginning of Fantasy
-
Claiming to be the first time an orchestra show held with a festival class, the effort to get simphonic music closer to the new generation is clearly working. Beforehand, spare me the details of score titles and game characters, I only played the VII and watched Advent Children of the whole series of the game featured last night.
So, started out about half an hour late thus creating a bit of commotion in the queing line outside the entrance, the opening number featuring Twilite Chorus was simply divine. After some themes from the game, Arina from Mocca sung 2 numbers, one of them was Eyes on Me, the most well known soundtrack of the FF. I thought Sherina was going to sing it, but Arina was surprisingly powerful.
Chocobo's Theme with its cute and cheerful tempo was brought by a group of trumpeteers that lived up to the score. Their performance was quite refreshing for the melancholic atmosphere of the evening. Jessica, one of the solo pianist that night, played Tifa's Theme very well, but none compared to the magical fingers of Kevin! Wearing the unusualy casual combo of T-Shirt, Jeans, Sneakers and Long haired wig (in tribute to Valentine, I suppose), his performance was electrifying! I'm a fan!

- Courage
-
Like everything else, it used to be simple. So simple that simple things are enough to define it. Superman or Pangeran Diponegoro, for example. However, a reconsideration will come up with things like: How can Superman be couragous when virtually nothing could hurt him, and Diponegoro just had absolutely no choice to act otherwise.
Blast it, knowing more indeed let you know how little you actually know. Thus the line seperating courage and stupidity becomes a blur.
Risks. Fear. Options.
Courage is not only acting in spite of fear, it also acting in spite of choices. Nothing is simple anymore. Worrying could be a very smart or very idiotic thing to do, depends on how things turn out. Unfortunately, there is no future to be foretold before any action is taken. Pretty anoying paradox, but it keeps the stock market alive.
The point is, Bachelor graduation brings about uncertainty, challenges, and options. Uncertainty is a form of risks. Challenges could bring motivation or fear while options will stand between the two. So I guess that leaves one thing to do next: finding out what i like to do.
