Your Taste in Music: R&B: High Influence
80's R&B: Medium Influence
90's Pop: Medium Influence
90's Hip Hop: Low Influence
90's R&B: Low InfluenceI guess it's true.. Those Gloria Estefans and Madonnas my parents fed me did a little bit more than all those boyband and raging alternative rock i listened through junior high..Brainy Kid In high school, you were acing AP classes or hanging out in the computer lab.
You may have been a bit of a geek back then, but now you're a total success!Yep, I was and still am a geek!
You've Changed 48% in 10 Years You've done a good job changing with the times, but deep down, you're still the same person.
Your clothes, job, and friends may have changed some - but it hasn't changed you.Apperently I've changed but not changed
Your World View You are a moralist with conventional ideas, which some people would call old-fashioned.
You probably think that most of the world falls badly below your standards.
Your inhibitions and sense of guilt are in the way of your happiness.
You think that people tend to use sex for evil, as a weapon.
Your parents probably played a big part in the formation of such a guilt complex as yours.
Your mind is in chains, and it's time you did something to free it.Guilt complex, eh? I knew it!(More)

We are the youth we'll take your facism away
We are the youth apologize for another day
We are the youth and politicians are so sure
We are the youth and we are knocking on death's door
Never knew we were livin' in the world with a mind that could be so sure
Never knew we were livin' in the world with a mind that could be so small
Never knew we were livin' in the world and the world is an open court
Maybe we don't wanna live in a world where innocence is so short
--Anthem for the Year 2000, Silverchair
When we say we love a country or a nation, what does that really mean?
Do we enjoy the view of the country's tourist attractions?
Are we proud of what the nation has or has achieved?
Or are we, as All Saint put it, Ready Willing and Able to defend the existance, freedom and ideology of that we say we love?

Scene I : First Viewing of the Logo Draft for a Symposium
For the sake of description, the first draft was in gold nuance of brown, dark peach and such. The following were the comments given.
+ The university logo at the center should stay black.
Ookay, sure.+ How about changing the main color to dark blue?
Okay, that would work.+ The event name should stand out. How about bright YELLOW.. and RED!
Fine. Tuning it down to blend in later.+ Hm, the black logo kinda drowns to the background. How about outlining it?
Sure. Just put some embossing and ...+ ... Oh, I know! Outline it with PINK! That would be nice!

No day But ToDay!
There is no future - There is no past
Thank God this moment's not the last
There's only us
There's only this
Forget regret or life is yours to miss
No other road
No other way
No day but today
Will I lose my dignity
Will someone care
Will I wake tomorrow
From this Nightmare
There's only now
There's only here
Give in to love
Or live in fear
No other path
No other wayNo day but today

- Being Victimized is the New Winning
-
In the real world, nothing is as it seems and some things often do not add up. Winning, once perceived as the ultimate goal in virtually everything, is not really that appealing anymore. First, the meteorological fact on how the wind blows in the upper level. Then, as the concept of justice engulfed the increasing numbers of 'democrits', the losers just must have more to compete with the winners.
So, despite the fact that our foreign exchange reserves and some export rates are in all-time high, being a deemed-as-poor nation does have some positive turn outs. The genocide thing still works in favor of a certain country to have its way. Even in Formula 1 race, the losing teams could use more powerful engines than the championship contenders.
hence, just like on many things newly discovered after the childhood naivity came off, perceptions must be revised. I am not really the kind of person who read The Art of War, but it is interesting to know why some people behave the way they do, strategically speaking.

bumped into Sharon at Citos a few days ago
it's really been a while since the last time we met... wish I could see all Niners again sometime.. kinda difficult when all of us are scattered around the globe, but maybe a reunion someday.
BBQ would be nice, sort of remembering the glory days of the past on a beach. Maybe..
