how the Gauls see us
 Posted by: ndin | 04/21 2006, 08:03

it's been a while since i realized that UI students are segmented according to our fields of study. this brings some stereotypes into each of our appearances, behaviors, buddies, hang out places. i once denied all of these, but they have proven themselves from time to time to be true for most instances ... Undecided

so, in the last few days, some fellows form the Management class are in the state of mild panic because they had to interview quite a number of Fasilkomers for their assignments. apparently, Fasilkomers are a rare breed in the social circle of UI students. Some of them almost shed tears when that quite a number of Fasilkomers were willing to come to their campus.

We were like.. D'oh, you're picking us up and giving us free lunch. Cool

Kinda sad, huh..

Not enforcing one's will onto others

During the era when Grunge was cool, Nirvana ruled and Bunga received a gold plate for record sales, anarchy was offered as one ultimate solutions. How sad is it to find religious and labor groups with educated leaders currently share the vision of a drunk man?

Well, considering the Grunge icons ended their lives with a bulet through his brain or coke up through his nose, not much of live s full of solutions, is it?

Here is some news: anarchy is not cool, it is just plain annoying.

The labor strike over a draft for revision of the Workforce Law which does not exist, successfully invited thousands of curses of commuters having had to spend hours stuck in traffic, some with broken properties. The violent protest to Playboy Indonesia successfully boosted its sales tremendously and wrecked a building allegedly housing the editor's office (which was empty at the time). Have either accomplished anything?

No. Not really.
Well, may be an increased number of students getting ready to throw rocks at the neighboring schools. Ain't that just absolutely repairing the citizens' morals and behaviors. Sure it will work better than a cheerful face of Andhara Early whose body so outrageously bodacious Angelina Jolie would curl up and cry.

Or not.

Wake up and smell the Kopi Tubruk. Violance is intolerable. Period.

no, nothing on quantum physics here...
i just want to ask a question:

if you can meet yourselves a few years back, what would you say to you?
