A movie titled The Omen is released today. A catastrophic natural disaster is rumored to be happening sometime around this night. Illusionist Deddy Corbuzier wanted his son to be born today, too bad he decided to debut 2 days ago.

6/6/06.
Once in a thousand year.

... cute coincidence Wink especially with this being my 100th post in this blog.

X3: The Last Stand
 Posted by: ndin | 06/02 2006, 06:28

disappointing.. ={

after Nightcrawler's act and everything fabulous in X2, the last piece of the trilogy is such an anticlimax. I could tolerate the alteration of a few facts from that in the comic books. However, painting the face of Phoenix green and wrinkly is absolutely NOT acceptable!

thumbs up for the special effects, though the efforts of delivering visual excellence seem to overpowering that in the storyline department. The last stand doesn't seem to be strong enough (what are they fighting for actually ??).

rewatched X2 again just to heal the diappointment and found some hints and clues for the last sequel. quite interesting...

Bukittinggi & Padang

--eat, shop, views...

last long weekend, i've got the chance to visit the land where it's not safe to go sky diving Wink

"No kidding, they're actually really lining up!"
--me, upon witnessing Bukit Barisan for the very first time

Arriving before noon at the new Minangkabau airport, the fresh air of seaside meets highlands welcome me. The day's plan was to go straight to Bukittinggi through Padang Panjang. For lunch, we picked a well known restaurant, Pak Datuk.

I'm not really a sucker for Padang cuisine, but honestly, Dendeng lambo & batoko served there were simply divine! Unusually easy to chew too. Of course, you've gotta have the stomach for it. The spice could go right up to your head!

A Dream of Life
 Posted by: ndin | 05/23 2006, 05:50

Life's not pretty

She's got hidden wrinkles here and there, some nicely consealed cellulites and a cronic bad habbit of torturing some poor souls. A certain path in life is a complete oxymoron since the brittle balance ultimately rests on the constant imbalance of things.

However, someone who is accustomed to see only black and white seem to have a hard time understanding that certainty is a luxury.
